Arnold Chester Copiskey, 87, was a lifelong Door County resident. He was born on December 31, 1930 to Chester and Gladys (Oberer) Copiskey in Fish Creek. He worked at “the shipyard” for over 40 years before retiring in 1992. Arnold enjoyed watching television especially westerns and horror films and listening to music throughout his life. In earlier years he enjoyed riding motorcycles and traveling. He is survived by his sister Viola (Fish Creek),Nephews Earl Farichild (Debbie Peterson) Sturgeon Bay, John Fairchild (Becki) Fish Creek, James Copiskey Carlsville, Greg Copiskey (Annie) Manitowoc, Nieces Becky Sloan (Noel) St. Louis Missouri, Amy (Mark) Vogel Kiel. Sister in law Kaaren Vanden Grift (St. Nazianz)and many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Chester and Gladys, his brother Donald and and his wife Joanne, brother Allen Copiskey. Brother in law Gordon Fairchild, Niece Donna Fairchild Burress.
Services are to be held at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Juddville on Friday October 5, 2018 at 1:00 P.M with luncheon (meal at church) to follow.
