Margaret Fandrei

     Margaret Fandrei of Oak Creek, Ellison Bay, Slinger and of late Sturtevant, WI went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 17th, 2019 at the age of 92. She is survived by her son Mordy (Kathie) Fandrei, daughter Colleen Purdy, Son-in-law Thomas Czarnecki, 15 Grandchildren, 19 great-Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Proceeded in death by her parents Richard and Tillie Mueller, daughter Cathleen Czarnecki, son-in-law Bryn Purdy, great grandson Nathaniel Welch, sister Evelyn (Robert) Krause,  brothers-in-law Austin Fandrei, Carroll (Natalie) Fandrei and sisters-in-law Antoinette (Vinton) Brandt, and Goldie (Emery) Lundquist.

     Margaret lived a very full life, even though throughout her life she had great heartbreak by the loss of her mother at a young age, as well as losing her first husband, Elroy Cummings. With him she had 2 daughters, Cathleen and Colleen, which gave her great joy.

     She held many jobs though out her life, such as a factory worker at PCA, where she met her second husband, Moreland Fandrei, SR. With him they had one son; Moreland Fandrei, JR. Mort introduced her to the glories of our savior, Jesus Christ. She became a woman of faith saved by grace, on March 25th 1962.

     Marge and Mort shared 53 blessed years together. Through the years they enjoyed many things together. They loved hunting, fishing, boating and making maple syrup together with family and friends. They also spent every weekend they could at the “shack” on their property in Ellison Bay. Later retiring to a home they placed on the same property. Always together, enjoying their life with a great love.

     Marge was well known for her fabulous cooking and baking skills. Her butterhorns and turnovers were unbelievable! Friends and family would always know if they popped in for a visit, there was always a wonderful cake or pie waiting to be shared. She learned to make her infamous taco’s from a dear friend, but she perfected them as only she could do. Family and friends knew they were in for the best treat when she would make them.

     "Please join us in a celebration of her life at a memorial service being held at Bethel Baptist Church 852 Europe Bay Road, Ellison Bay, WI 54210 on September 21st at 11am. Please join us after the service for a luncheon in her honor."

     The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, a donation towards the cemetery monument would be greatly appreciated.
