Alma Lynn (Martin) Weborg

     Alma Lynn Weborg, 71, of the Town of Liberty Grove, WI, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 30, 2023 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, WI with family at her side.

     She was born December 28, 1951 in Huntington, WV, the daughter of Robert Lee Martin and Mary "Katie" Katherine (Stewart) Martin. Alma initially attended Ceredo-Kenova High School in Kenova, WV before her family moved to Racine, WI in June of 1967. She attended William Horlick High School in Racine and was in the drum and bugle corps. Alma graduated from William Horlick High School with the class of 1970.

     She met Dorrence "Duce" Weborg through a mutual friend, "Fireman Rick" Bindle. They were united marriage on February 12, 1996 in West Palm Beach, FL. Duce and Alma moved to northern Door County, WI (where Duce was originally from) in 2010 and resided together in the Town of Liberty Grove near Northport.

     She was a personal banker for North Shore Bank for 40 years, initially in Racine and then in Sister Bay, WI after moving to Door County. Alma also worked as a hostess for Mink River Basin, waitress at the Viking Grill, and then as a volunteer at the Visitor Center, all in Ellison Bay.

     She was raised Baptist and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Sturtevant, WI (near Racine) and then Bethel Baptist Church in Ellison Bay. Alma enjoyed fishing with Duce. She liked having animals, and in many ways, probably would have been better off living on a farm. Alma loved people, whether it was during her years working for the bank, at the restaurants, or for the visitor center.

     She will be missed by missed by her husband, Duce, with whom she was blessed to share over 27 years of marriage;  brothers, Robert "Bobby" Martin of Sturtevant, WI and Mark Martin; brothers-in-law, Arthur (Lori) Weborg of the Town of Gibraltar, WI and John (Denise) Weborg of New Berlin, WI; nieces and nephews, Erin Martin and Amy (Phillip) Menard, Melissa (Joel) Kornowski, Stephanie (Scott) Soucek, Arthur (Kate) Weborg, and Charity (Paul) Seidler, and David and Christopher Weborg; great-nephews and great-nieces; other relatives; and friends.

     Alma was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Gordon "Gordy" and Eileen (nee Moser) Weborg; sister-in-law, Kathrine Weborg; and other relatives.

     Her life will be honored with a memorial service held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Bethel Baptist Church in Ellison Bay with Pastor Jim Peterson officiating. Alma will be laid to rest in St. Rosalia Cemetery in Sister Bay.

     Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
