Beverly Hubbard Obituary

Beverly Jo (Larson) Hubbard, 87, of Green Bay, passed away on March 29, 2023, from natural causes.

She was born in Sister Bay, WI, July 28, 1935.  Beverly graduated from Gibraltar High School in 1953.  Beverly married Ronald Mathew Hubbard in Cheyenne, Wyoming on October 12, 1962.

There was more to Beverly than met the eye. From growing up on a farm in 1940’s Door County, both working and finishing school in Milwaukee, becoming Miss Door County, traveling to the 1960 Badger Rose Bowl and beyond.  Her life was fulfilled raising five happy and successful children, being a loving and supporting wife to Ron and reveling in being a doting grandmother of 12.  She loved family pool parties at Nana's, sumptuous Christmas gatherings with her famous Swedish meatballs, special celebrations of birthdays and graduations, appreciating her neighbors on Roselawn, both past and present, and reminiscing about the old Allouez Swim Club, were her passion shared and remembered by all who were encompassed by her love.  She has left a legacy of a life well-lived, woven and strengthened by love of family and traditions.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Dr. Ronald Hubbard; children, Diana (Don) Noack of Cedarburg, WI, Dr. Tiffany (Paul O’Keeffe) Hubbard of Wauwatosa, WI, Ronald (Maureen) Hubbard, Jr. of Carmel, IN, Dr. Tyler (Beth) Hubbard of Sturgeon Bay, WI, and Dr. Derek (Angela) Hubbard of Madison, WI; grandchildren, Ryan and Ella Noack, Bridget and Carolyn Hubbard, Fletcher, Spencer, and Johnny Hubbard, Emily, Sarah, and Anna Hubbard; step-grandchildren, Heather and David O’Keeffe; sisters, Lynnea (Dennis) Hickey of Baileys Harbor, WI and Wendy Hanson of Green Bay, WI; and sisters-in-law, Anna Gay (Dick) Pahlow of Green Bay, WI and Vicki Hubbard of Sister Bay, WI.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Phyllis (Logerquist) Larson and sisters, Sharon, Diane, Sally, Cindy and Mary Beth.

The family gives a special thanks to the entire Unity hospice staff for the excellent care and compassion shown for Beverly, namely Ashley, Nancy, Jane, Sam and their teams; and a special thanks to Dr. LaFond and the entire Bellin staff for their care.

In honor of Beverly’s wishes, private services were held and she was laid to rest in Little Sister Cemetery in Sister Bay.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be addressed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation - Wisconsin Chapter.
