Clarice Louise Linden

     Clarice Louise Linden, age 95, of Elgin, IL, died Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Avantara Nursing Home of Elgin.

     She was born March 22, 1928 in Ohio, the daughter of James Calvin Hughes and Ethel Faye (Bishop) Hughes. 

     She was united in marriage to Arthur Francis Linden on April 27, 1950 in Mount Vernon, OH. They were blessed with three sons and shared 11 years of marriage. Arthur preceded her in death in 1961.

     She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, William and Edward Linden; and sister, Clara Litzenberg.

     Clarice will be missed by her son, Arthur "Art" (Vickie) Linden of Baileys Harbor; daughter-in-law, Kathleen "Kathy" Linden of Gilberts, IL; six grandchildren; Vickie Valerie (Jeff) Bacon, Eric Arthur Linden, Heather Elipas, Joshua (Elizabeth) Linden, Karen (Ozzie Rodriguez) Danca, and Jason Linden; numerous great-grandchildren; and other relatives.

     Her life will be honored with a memorial service held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Casperson Funeral Home, 2594 S. Bay Shore Drive, Sister Bay, WI 54234 with Pastor Gary Scharrig officiating. Clarice will be laid to rest in Little Sister Cemetery in the Town of Liberty Grove, beside her husband, Arthur and son, Edward.

     Visitation for family and friends will be held at Casperson Funeral Home on Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
