Dolores “Lorry" L. Kemble

     Dolores “Lorry” L. Kemble, 93, of Sister Bay, formerly of Lombard IL, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Scandia Village in Sister Bay.

     Lorry was born September 22, 1929 in Melrose Park, Illinois the daughter of the late Fred and Julia (Stang) Hardt. Following High School, she worked for the VA until 1954 when starting her family.  On May 20, 1950 she married LeRoy W. Kemble in Bellwood, Illinois.  Lorry enjoyed vacations and family trips, loved being near the water, waterskiing, music and concerts, theater, and spending time with friends and family. Lorry took pleasure in cooking and going out to eat with family and friends, and living in Door County which brought her near the water. 

     She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sister Bay.

     Surviving family includes her two children, Janet L. Kemble of Sister Bay, and son, Jeffrey H. Kemble of Colorado.

     Preceding her in death were her parents, Fred and Julia Hardt; husband, LeRoy Kemble; an infant child; four siblings, Ruth Zanger, Adolf “Bud” Hardt, Harold Hardt (died in battle, WWII), and Fritzy Hardt.; LeRoy’s parents, Walter and Ethel Kemble

     Services are pending at this time.
