Joy Ann Raines, 72, of Baileys Harbor, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday, November 13, 2021.

     She was born July 20, 1949 in Sturgeon Bay, daughter of the late Wallace M. and Florence Emma Frida (Haucke) Simonar. Joy was a devoted mother, who was full of faith, generosity, and kindness. She was always seen with a smile on her face and she lived a quiet but fulfilling life.

     Joy will be missed by her children, Tracey (Matt) Tishler, Allen (Annie) Anschutz, Tammy (James) Voeks, Jesse (fiancée, Joanna Severinsen) Raines, Jason Orsted, and Jennifer (Eric) Scheller; grandchildren, Brandon, Adele, Luke, Haley, Tanner, Ella, Ethan, and Rhyder; brother, Jim (Sandra) Simonar; and dear friends, Joanie Nelson, Lori Reinhardt, and Anita Franke.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Florence Simonar and husband, Raymond Raines.

     Joy was laid to rest during a private graveside service at Blossomberg Cemetery in Fish Creek.
