Linda Daubner Obituary

Linda Louise Daubner, 76, of Sister Bay, formerly Green Bay, passed away Wednesday April 15, 2026 at Serenity Spring Senior Living at Scandia Village  in Sister Bay.

She was born May 17, 1949 in Green Bay, the daughter of Emery and Evelyn (Bailey) Mommaerts. Linda graduated from West High School in Green Bay. On May 15, 1968, she married Ronald "Beno" Daubner. She was a talented cook and waitress for her working career. Some of the places she cooked and served at were Julie's Cafe and Home Town Cafe in Green Bay, Baileys Harbor Yacht Club, Mike's Port Pub, Johnny's Cottage, Viking Grill, Peninsula Golf Course, and The Hitching Post in Door County.

Growing up as the only girl in the family, she was Daddy's princess. Like her dad, Linda was competitive in sports and playing games and cards and did not like to lose. She was a good athlete, bowling with her backup ball, playing softball, and ice skating in her youth. In an argument, even if she was not well versed on the subject, she was right, never wrong. She was a very good cook who was also self-described as Linda Louise the "Booyah Queen".

Her family includes her two brothers, Steven (Debbie) Mommaerts of Oconto Falls and Roger (Sue) Mommaerts of Eagle River; sister-in-law, Judy Mommaerts of Howard; aunt, Georgie Neumeier of Green Bay; and dear nieces and nephews; and cousins.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald "Beno" Daubner; two sons, Christopher and Darin; and her brother, Bruce Mommaerts.

"Special thank you to the nursing staff at Serenity Spring and Unity Hospice for your care and attention to Linda during her stay."

Her life will be honored with a service at 11:00 a.m.on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Fort Howard Memorial Park chapel, 1350 N. Military Avenue, Green Bay, WI 54303 with visitation to be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.Saturday prior to the service.
