Robert was born December 19, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Donald and Doris (Fisher) Thibault. Following his graduation from Livonia High School, he went on to complete his undergraduate degree in business from the University of Detroit-Mercy before receiving his MBA there also.      On November 23, 1984 he married Eileen Marie Hojna in Detroit, MI. They moved to Door County full time in 2019, after having a cabin in Egg Harbor for several years. Bob enjoyed sportscars, drinking rum and cokes (Bayside Tavern was his favorite), baseball, Formula One & Indy Car racing, hockey, and boating. Bob was an avid Detroit Red Wings and Packers fan and never missed a game. Bob loved animals and raised many dogs throughout the years.

In his work life, Bob was a consummate professional who respected those around him and was respected by all who knew and worked with him. He loved his work at Kimberly Clark and retired as an executive with the company. At Kimberly Clark, Bob always tried to put people front and center. Bob mentored many throughout his career. A highlight of his career was forging a partnership between Kimberly Clark and the NHL. He was previously a hockey coach and served on the boards of The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley and the University of Wisconsin MBA program.

Survivors include his devoted and loving wife, Eileen; three dear sons, Brian (Rachel) Thibault of Arvada, Colorado and their two children, Henry and Charlie, Scott (partner, Ran Jones) Thibault of Ephraim, Michael Thibault (and his cat, Wendi) of Neenah. Bob will be remembered by his family for his success and determination. He always pushed to set up his family for success.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Doris Thibault; and his sister, Lori Boys.
