Robert “Bob” L. Rogers, age 92 of Ellison Bay, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025 at Serenity Springs Senior Living at Scandia Village.
Bob was born July 26, 1933 to Charles and Lydia (Zimmerman) Rogers in Chicago, Illinois.
He was the second of four children. Bob was united in marriage to Laura Scrimpsher on July 25, 1965. The couple celebrated their diamond anniversary together this year, marking 60 years of enduring love.

Bob wrote under the pennames Lee Rogers, Jean Barrett, and Jean Thomas. He belonged to the Wisconsin Romance Writers Association (WisRWA) and received the award for “Writer of the Year” in 2014.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Laura Scrimpsher Rogers, sister Dr. Nancy Rogers (partner Jack), brother-in-law Ray Scrimpsher (Judy), and many nieces and nephews.
