Obituary

Shirley Mae Baxter, 87, of Washington Island, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 20, 2020.

She was born March 5, 1933 on Washington Island, daughter of the late Thorvald and Lillie Wilhelmina (Krause) Johnson. On August 27, 1955, Shirley was united in marriage with Wilburn Leland Baxter at Trinity Lutheran Church. Shirley would have done anything for everyone and was truly loved by everyone who met her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thorvald and Lillie Johnson and husband, Wilburn Baxter.
