Sylvia M. Youell

      Sylvia M. Youell, of Sister Bay and Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, passed away on June 11, 2022.

     She was preceded in death by her mother, Marion; father, Ray; brother, Bob; and sister-in-law, Madalyn.

     She is survived by her four California nieces and a nephew, as well as many devoted cousins.

     Sylvia taught physical education for 27 years at Wauwatosa West High School. She also owned and operated SilverCroft Gallery, specializing in her award-winning silver jewelry. Sylvia taught jewelry making and served on the board of the Peninsula School of Art in Fish Creek. She loved to travel, read mystery books, and knit. She dearly loved her two dogs and cat. She will be missed by all of her dear friends and students.

     Memorials can be made in Sylvia’s name to the Door County Land Trust, The Peninsula School of Art, Good Samaritan Society – Scandia Village, or the Wisconsin Humane Society - Door County Campus.
