William J. Ambrose

     William J. Ambrose, 61, of Sister Bay, died Tuesday December 20, 2022, at home after a lengthy illness.

     Bill was the loving son of the late Robert L. and Mary Ambrose whom he preceded in death along with his adoring sister, Margaret (Ambrose) Czjakowski and his loyal brother, Robert L. Ambrose Jr. He is survived by his four siblings, Jane (late Robert L.) Ambrose, Mary (late Robert) Tourounjian, Kathleen (Scott) Smith, and John (Dianna) Ambrose. Bill was the devoted Uncle to many nieces and nephews and the proud Godfather of his niece, Elizabeth Ambrose.

     Bill was a real estate agent in Door County for many years. Always laughing and bringing out the humorous side of life with everyone who knew him. He surrounded himself with loving family, and steadfast friends and caregivers. His sense of humor, mechanical genius, and zest for life will be missed.

     Visitation and Mass will be held beginning 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 30, 2022, at Stella Maris Parish – Fish Creek. Mass will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Blossomberg Cemetery in the Peninsula State Park.

     In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Hemophilia Foundation.
